Background
Dr. Becki Schellinger started her career in mechanical engineering and public service before being called into medicine. After working in Alaska as a firefighter/EMT and in the construction industry, she returned to school to pursue her degree in osteopathic medicine. She has brought her talents back to Alaska, and has worked for Providence Seward Medical Center since 2017. Dr. Schellinger has a special interest in emergency medicine and non-medication treatment of injuries & chronic pain. Through her work in the emergency room and the SCHC clinic, her goal is to optimize quality of life for her patients and fellow Sewardites. You may see her out on local hiking trails, as Dr. Schellinger enjoys outdoor wilderness recreation.
