Our commitment to your health goes beyond the walls of the exam room. We can help you enroll in insurance, Medicaid, State of Alaska benefits (like SNAP), and our Sliding Fee Discount Program. We can also refer you to additional resources in the area, and even help you get discounted internet service. These services are provided free of charge. SCHC is recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home. This is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront, with primary care teams coordinating care across specialties.

SCHC has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status, which is granted to health centers with documented Quality Improvement and Risk Management Programs.
