Important Dates //
Open Enrollment is the time when you can find a new Marketplace plan, keep your current plan, or see if you can get help paying for coverage. If you want to make sure you’re covered, mark these four dates on your calendar:
-
November 1 - Open Enrollment starts — first day you can enroll in a Marketplace plan for next year.
-
December 15 - Open Enrollment ends. After this date, you can’t enroll in a health insurance plan for next year unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to a life change like marriage, having a baby, or losing other coverage.
-
January 1 - First date coverage can start for current year.
